Marine and ARVN ground forces are advancing the perimeter into the neighbouring hills and valleys. Enemy opposition has been light to date but is beginning to stiffen.
In particular, there is evidence of enemy infiltration down the Ah Dang valley toward the lake Long Song to the north west of the airbase. There is evidence that the enemy is moving AAA assets into the valley as well. Work with an airborne FAC to identify and interdict targets along the road
