Ace Combat - 73rd FS 'Gorgons' [OUTDATED]

Osean Air Defense Force 73rd Fighter Squadron 'Gorgons' is a unit with a largely unremarkable history. Trading between active combat commands and rear-line pilot training between the years of the Osean-Yuktobanian Cold War. The Gorgons found themselves deployed overseas in Usea during the Belkan War, only being recalled to defend the homeland in late May of 1995 and was assigned to the November City Air Defense Sector earning the unit a defense commendation.


It would not be until mid-way through the Circum-Pacific war between Yuktobania and Osea that the Gorgons would finally be able to cut their teeth in combat, earning air to air victories against the Yuktobanian Air Force along the southern sweep around Verusa.


The Gorgon's fortune would not last however. Following the War, they would be retransferred to a Reservist pilot training squadron and would be some of the first casualties of the Lighthouse War that broke out in May of 2019.
