211 Squadron Czech Air Force, Winter camoflage Experimental scheme. This has the orange radome that it wasseen with later in life, i just think the orange makes the white and blues less harsh. Its mostly very accurate but there are areas that were edited for ease of painting and matching - thi is not a blanket texture file slapped on over the whole file that does not match up, each splinter was added one by one.

"7701" was a MiG-21MF (c.n. 967701) built on 22.6.1973 at MiG's P.A. Voronin Production Center in Moscow. It was delivered to the Czech Air Force sometime between 6-10.1973. 7701 was attached to the "Letecký zkušební odbor" ("Flying Test Department" - LZO) fr om 1994-1999; the main objective of the LZO was developing of the new tactics and training procedures, and also was tasked with flight displays of their MiG-21 at various air shows as well - a job which was often delegated to 7701, which flew as far as Fairford AFB in the UK to fly demo flights.

While the splinter camouflage proposal was eventually rejected in favor of a simpler two-tone gray camouflage, 7701 continued to fly with this paint (even despite being reassigned to a different unit in 1999 after the LZO's disbandment) until its retirement and storage in 2002. After its decommissioning it was stored for some time, but eventually went on display at the Museum of Air and Ground Technology in Vyškov, wh ere it remains today.
