"Big Ass Bird II" I wonder what happened to the first Bird   //  P-47D livery of Major Howard Park's "Big Ass Bird II" fr om 406th Fighter Group

** Update**
- The inner doors of intercooler outlets were grey where it should have USAF's logo (see on screenshots) *fixed
- The nose tip becomes white when propeller is spinning *fixed (should be red now)
- Updated with the latest template (very little change)


I made this livery as accurately as I could given the few references I've found on this particular paint scheme. I hope you like it!

Maj. Howard Park was one of the 406th Fighter Group's best attack pilots. Park was the first pilot to achieve combat kills using the new HVAR rockets during the Normandy landings, and also used them to destroy a German warship in Brest harbour.
