Tomcat skin inspired by the VF-111 Sundowners squadron CAG "Miss Molly". Version 1.1 includes minor paint and color corrections. Pilot helmet color corrected and adjusted.
The original livery was created for the VF-111 CAG Tomcat, BUNO 161621 in honor of Ms. Molly Snead who was a nurse who cared for the wife of Senator Carl Vinson. This livery existed on the Tomcat in 1988 through 1989 while the squadron was attached to the USS Carl Vinson.
Most of the stencils on this livery were created from scratch with a few minor exceptions that used the Heat Blur template. This package does not have the "Shark Teeth" drop tank. This livery originally adorned the F-14A Tomcat but for now, of course, is created for the F-14B. Reference material used primarily is the excellent, "Colors & Markings of U.S. Navy F-14 Tomcats, Part 2: Pacific Coast Squadrons (Digital Colors and Markings Series Book 3)," by Bert Kinzey.
