Die ersten MiG-15 für die Luftstreitkräfte (LSK) der Kasernierten Volkspolizei (KVP) wurden bereits 1953 noch vor Gründung der Nationalen Volksarmee (NVA) der DDR angeschafft.
Die Flugzeuge trugen noch sowjetische Hoheitszeichen. Nach dem 17. Juni 1953 wurde dieses Vorhaben gestoppt und die Flugzeuge an die Sowjetunion zuück gegeben.
Die von mir dargestellte Variante ist daher fiktiv.
Drei Jahre später wurden dann ingesamt 57 MiG-15bis angeschafft und bis 1969 genutzt und durch MiG-17 bzw. MiG-21 ersetzt.

The first MiG-15s for the Air Force (LSK) of the Kasernierte Volkspolizei (KVP) were purchased in 1953 even before the foundation of the National People's Army (NVA) of the GDR.
The aircraft still carried Soviet insignia. After June 17, 1953, this plan was stopped and the planes were returned to the Soviet Union.
The variant I have depicted is therefore fictitious.
Three years later a total of 57 MiG-15bis were purchased and used until 1969 when they were replaced by MiG-17 and MiG-21.
