Hey awesome Pilots, brush up your GBU-12 to moving targets skills cause this one will sure demand them & there some Air to Air combat thrown in too. I would rate this around a 8/10 difficulty. After a recent successful mission you were taking some well deserved R & R at Rayak Air Base when all of a sudden & completely catching you & everyone else off guard, the very Airfield you're at.. is under attack! Our Predator has provided images of 3 Paladin Howitzers located within an Enemy group about 8 miles to the South & their Turrets are pointing directly at us & also comes to our attention is a small 3 Unit Enemy Column heading towards us from the North. Your orders are to quickly scramble & head out to the Howitzers location first ( WP2 ) & kill all 3 before they totally destroy Rayak Airfield. After that, locate the enemy Column & neutralise all 3 Units before they reach the Base which we determine will be in approx 28 mins. It's also been observed a SAM SA-15 Tor is one of the units within the group, so watch your Altitude. Locate the Column by searching from your WP3 & your WP4 is located much closer to the Base. It's imperative the Column or any Unit from it does not reach Rayak otherwise you'll fail the mission. After you complete these tasks stay in a holding pattern within the AO & await further instructions. There is a Tanker in the area if a refuel is needed or you may land at either Damascus or any other Blue Base for this but NOT Rayak & AWACS is also available in case of any Air to Air activity you should encounter. At Mission complete you will RTB Beirut ( WP7 ) & taxi & park to your designated spot. Rayak has always been Blue & now it seems the Enemy wishes to turn it Red.. but we have you to stop them.
So get up there.. Fight for Rayak!

TIPS:
1. Arm your EJECTION seat before you depart & also flick that FLIR switch ON to save time & when taxiing out choose the first turn off to the Runway that you see.
2. If you have a spare GBU-12 handy & wish to splash the Mig while he's taxiing, try this.. soon as you release GBU-12 to the stationary SAM, begin a gentle dive because when that SAM is killed the Mig instantly activates & starts taxiing so you being at a lower altitude will greatly increase your chance of splashing him before he departs.
4. Your final Target the Flanker will be at around 8000 ft & is a mean SOB & immediately locks onto you once you kill the Mig.. so good luck with that. oh yea & the Mig if airborne is the same deal.
