SRS is a great Modification for DCS. But i don't really like the original sounds when pressing and release the radio button. That's why i've adapted other soundfiles for a feeling like in Falcon-BMS and additionally i recorded some more from a VHF/UHF-Radio for this action.
In addition, i recorded the appropriate background noise for each radio, too. The voices are now much better to understand. Especially with the HF_noise.

Zuerst die Original-Dateien des AudioEffects-Ordner sichern (FM-NOISE, HF_NOISE, UHF_NOISE, VHF_NOISE) oder z.B. ein @ vor den Namen setzen!
Dann einfach die Sounddateien aus dem Hauptordner (PTT-Soundmod for SRS) in das SRS Installationsverzeichnis kopieren: "DCS-SimpleRadio-Standalone\AudioEffects"
Wenn Dir meine Favoriten nicht gefallen, findest Du alternative PTT-Files und verschiedene Lautstärken jetzt im Ordner : "different volume levels and some more TX-RX-Sounds"
Wähle einfach den Unterordner mit Deiner bevorzugten Lautstärke und kopiere alle Dateien in den AudioEffects Ordner von SRS.

First save the Originals (FM-NOISE, HF_NOISE, UHF_NOISE, VHF_NOISE) or rename them with an additional @!
Then simply copy the Sound-Files from the Main-Folder (PTT-Soundmod for SRS) to you SRS Installation folder: "DCS-SimpleRadio-Standalone\AudioEffects"
If you don't like my favorite files, then you can find alternativ TX-RX-files and different volume levels in this folder: "different volume levels and some more TX-RX-Sounds"
Choose the subfolder of the volume-level you prefer and copy all files to the AudioEffects folder of SRS.

My recommended settings: Speaker Boost at 10dB and the Background Radio Effects Volume keep on 100%.
My favorite TX-RX-samples are: RADIO_TRANS_START_MAXX and RADIO_TRANS_END_MAXX (direct in the main-folder, others in the subfolder).

UHF_Noise and VHF_Noise are now combined with a buzzing noise. I think it sounds more interesting in this way. Just a little bit more like BMS. I hope you like that, too! If not, the old files are saved in the folder "old noise".
You can now hear the difference between the original and the mod-files in a small comparison video on Youtube. Short, but you can hear how much better the voice is to understand. link:

Mini-Update: Now the Background-Radio-Effects are much quieter! You shouldn't have to use the volume slider. Background-Radio-Effects at 100% is OK now! So, fewer changings under settings are required. ;-)

My favorite and recommended files for TX/RX are now direct in the main-folder: RADIO_TRANS_START_MAXX and RADIO_TRANS_END_MAXX (more now in the separate folder)

HF_Noise changed. Before, it sounded like a noise generator. Sometimes you don't notice such things immediately. :-)

Since Version 1.9.3.0 there is an integrated Volume-Control of the Background-Noises. Very nice!!! With an Option to choose different Start- and End-Sounds for TX and RX separately it would be perfect!
The Noise-Files in the Subfolders are deleted for a smaler Download-Size. You only need the Noise-Files in the Mainfolder and then the TX-RX-Files in the Subfolders like before.
I recorded a new VHF-Background-Noise. The older one had a buzzing noise on top that disturbed me afterwards. Sorry! ;-)
