"In 1989, the "Tophatters" celebrated their seventieth anniversary as an active squadron in the Navy by painting special markings on their CAG and commander's Tomcats. This is the CAG Tomcat, BuNo. 162700, showing those markings. The aircraft is painted in the overall Light Gull Gray scheme and it has colorful national insignias and stenciling.
