You were chillin out aboard John C Stennis enjoying some well deserved R n R when an alarm sounded.. KHASAB IS UNDER SEIGE! A well armed terrorist group has made a surprise take over of Khasab Air Field, a Oil Rig about 7 miles West of the Coast & a Mosque very close to the Airfield. Our Predator has also ID a ManPad & AAA Emplacement sharing a roof top about 1/2 a mile East of the Airstrip. There is also a deadly mobile SAM SA-15 TOR travelling within a small column patrolling the Airfield & also a MIG-29S coming in Hot from the East & a SU27 Flanker from the North in Hot as well.. both heading for Khasab. And if that's not enough, our Predator has unbelievably ID a SCUD & a SMERCH Unit on both sides of the Mosque. At the Oil Rig there are two Ka50 Black Sharks,one is parked on the Platform & the other is in a low orbit & a small armed speed boat is at the base of the Rig. This terrorist group has made a bold move taking over these assests. So now it's time to do some repossessing..
Wait until 3 other Hornets launch off Stennis at 17:00 hrs, after which you can choose whatever Cat you wish to launch from then WP navigate to the AO. Your mission consists of destroying a Ka50 parked on the Oil Rig Platform & also another Black Shark circling above as well as taking care of a enemy Speed Boat at the base of the Rig.. all at your WP2. Now East of Khasab Runway 19 outside a large & very beautiful Mosque is a SCUD & SMERCH Unit set up which you must destroy & your weapon delivery to these Enemy Units must be pin point accurate as we cannot have the Mosque damaged. At your WP3 you will target a AAA on a rooftop & be careful as a Igla MANPAD is also on that roof. You will also need to destroy a mobile SAM SA-15 TOR who is travelling second last in a small Armour column of 4 who are patroling the Airfield. Now this guy is no slouch, he can launch 8 missiles in successsion at around Mach 2 & deadly at 20000 ft so watch him & watch your altitude. And last but by no means least, you must splash a MIG-29S who will be "In Hot" from the East at around 22000ft not long after your takeoff & also a SU-27 Flanker in Hot from the North, both heading for Khasab & I would class the Bogies & the Gauntlet as being the most dangerous in this Theatre. This mission will not be easy as there are quite a few AAA defences & you will have to choose carefully your order of attack. I would first advise to splash the MIG then the Flanker & then head out & kill the targets at the Oil Rig & then nail the SAM & go down the list from there. You have an adequate Loadout & all designated targets must be neutralised for a mission success & you have no Centre Tank so more than likely you will need a refuel. BRA calls is AWACS Overlord on COMM-2 Ch 2 & KC-130 Tanker on TACAN-1X COMM-2 Ch 1 if you need a AAR or you may RTB Ras AI Khaimah to refuel or back to Stennis. Also Naval radio chatter available on COMM-2 Ch 3 if you wish to indulge. Once you have completed all your mission objectives you have a choice of either a wire trap back on Stennis or WP nav to Ras Al Khaimah to land and park or any Friendly Airfield close by or just Esc to end the mission & check your stats. Overall you have 9 specific targets so take your time planning this one as it's no push over but that's exactly why we chose the BEST for the job.
