Sporting what must be one of the most dramatic examples of nose art ever applied to a military aircraft...ever,
"Chippy Ho!" was a Hornet with the US Navy's VFA-195 "Dambusters" and was assigned to Capt Brian Calhoun during
his time as CAG aboard the USS Independence.
I have attempted to depict it as it appeared in June 1995.
I have used a little artistic licence with the tanks. The real art for the drop tanks had the Eagles feet in both right and left handed positions.
However as the tank in the sim is a single example repeated then the talons would face the same direction on every tank. I did not like how this
appeared so I adapted the art to a straight ahead grip.
