Based on ill-fated but real world Aircraft that served in Desert Storm - This is a re-upload of the file I posted back in 2017, I accidentally deleted it from DCS site.
I stumbled across this unique pattern in a Plane spotters guide. This aircraft was originally Delivered to the VMA-331 in 1985. During the furious marathon deployment to the Mid-east it was acquired by the VMA-231. It had yet to be repainted in desert greys to match the rest of the VMA-231 when it was tragically shot down by Iraqi IR missile over central Kuwait on 09FEB91. Captain Russ Sandborn ejected and was captured. The Captain survived 26 days in captivity, and Is now a Major General, Air commander, and all around bad mutha, still serving in the Marine Corps.
