The CAC ( Avon) Sabre served operationally with 3, 75, 76, 77 & 79 Squadrons RAAF, and 2 OTU & 3 OCU RAAF between 1953-68.
They were based in Australia and overseas, serving in Ubon, Thailand and Butterworth, Malaysia under mutual defence treaties.
You will get two skins , one will be a generic skin that has rear fuselage bort numbers activated.
I have ( with a little bit of license) remade my original Sabre skins for the latest DCS 2.5 iteration,
the skins are as authentic as i can get them, and in some cases have ignored the drop tanks because of some modelling flaws.
I have also used a little bit of license in the pilots badges and insignia, they display contempory, old and the traditional Sqn insignia of those units.
I have also placed into the cockpit Jocko417's most excellent Black Instrument panel cockpit mod.
Download and use the excellent OVGME from here: http://www.ovoid.org/ovgme/
If you dont know anything about it read this excellent post by Rudel at DCS: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=182827
Or if you still use JSGME from here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=98607
Im not sure but i think JSGME is not supported any more.
Not recommended ( in my opinion) : If you dont use JSGME or OVGME, remove the skins folders and place them in your game at \DCS World OpenBeta\CoreMods\aircraft\F-86\Liveries
or one of the other various methods being used now.
My Grateful thanks to Jocko417 for allowing me to use his black instrument panel cockpit mod which the Australian CAC Sabre did indeed have.
And of course SkateZilla's Templates.
Hope they make the grade !
