Special configuration for Closed Traffic Pattern Practice at Nellis AFB. (UPDATED FILE April 2017 with New Loading Screenshot)
Your Eagle is set up with two bags, ACMI Pod, and just enough fuel to get you airborne and set up for a few Approach 'N' Goes before being at 6,000 lbs for Closed Traffic Pattern practice. Get to your optimum landing weight realistically instead of dropping fuel tanks or venting fuel. Practice your pattern altitudes (3,500 MSL for Downwind) and use your 45 line for break from the perch. Focus on the Touch Down Zone and round out your flare for a smooth landing. Also focus on maintaining runway heading with no-burner departure to 300kias for the crosswind break with 20 degrees nose up. Hone your skills!
