It is a basic livery for the Forrestal, brightening lots of the deck markings, changing the Island to gray, and adding some Canadian touches to the Default Heatblur USS Forrestal.

In an alternate world under a lease agreement with the US Navy, Canada would once again have an aircraft carrier. With a strained budget, a single Forrestal-Class aircraft carrier was chosen. Not long after, the vessel was commissioned into the Canadian Armed Forces as HMCS Forrestal (CV-59).

VF-211 operated the F-14 Tomcat for 30 years (1975-2005), including the A and B models. The livery depicted in these skins represents the 2000-2002 period, during which the Checkmates won numerous awards for their combat strike-fighter effectiveness.

At the turn of the century, Adygea had opted to purchase 12 F-14A Tomcats from Osea. The former OMDF aircraft would transfer into the AAF in 2001 to bolster the air superiority and beyond visual range capabilities of Adygea, complimenting their aging F-4 Phantom fleet. Pilots would be trained by OMDF instructor classes in the nearly 20 years they operated during peacetime.

RCN/CAF Fictional CF-144 Livery V1.1 (17/03/2024)

This is a fictional livery based off the Royal Navy F-4’s as the basis of a what-if the Royal Canadian Navy had the funds for a new carrier and F-14’s.

There are two liveries provided.
146 – in VF-871 colours, it is inspired by the US Navy and old RCN liveries, this is what it may have looked like before the unification of the Canadian Armed Forces.
334 – In VF-870 colours, this is a more realistic interpretation of what a naval version of a CF-144 may have looked like in the 80s. Though colour markings are bars instead of triangles as it was difficult to make it fit the shape of the rudder.

Established in 1965 flying the F-4J, the ubiquitously known ‘Wardog’ Squadron would spend most of its career attached as a shore-based squadron, as a liaison unit under the Osean Air Defense Forces’ 5th Fighter Wing at Joint Base Sand Island.

In 1975, the Squadron would adopt their well known F-14A, flying the type through the Belkan War, and gaining considerable notoriety in Counter-Air missions in the infamous Area B7R. This glory wouldn’t save the squadron however, when in 1998 with impending budget cuts forced the Wardogs from Tomcats into the less glamorous F-5, as an associate field training squadron at Sand Island. The Squadron would gain fame, followed by infamy, during the 2010 Circum-Pacific War when pilots from the Squadron would become war hero’s dubbed ‘The Razgriz’ until when late in the war the squadron would be implicated in an espionage plot supporting Yuktobania.

As a result, Fighter Squadron 108 would be quietly retired along with dozens of other squadrons in 2011

Dating back to the founding of the Adamas Air Force in 1934, the Gamecocks have been the backbone of the Adamas Air Force. In 1973, the Gamecocks were selected to be Adamas F-14 Squadron with an order of nearly sixty airframes. Pilots would be sent to Osea, trading their aging F-104s for the newer Naval fighter, with the first group of Pilots and RIOs Graduating in 1975. Shortly after tge delivery of the first two F-14As to the Island however, civil war broke out in the country, leading to the ousting of the Osean backed DeJure government replaced by Yuktobanian supported Revolutionaries. At least one of the two F-14s that the Gamecocks had was transferred to Yuktobania as payment, with their remaining jet downed in 1977 during the Adamas Crisis that followed.

Today the Squadron operates a meager amount of MiG-29s for coastal Defense,  while the remaining Adamas ordered Tomcats were transferred to the Osean Marine Corps

The original purchasers of the F-14 Design, the Emmerian Military received the second block of Osean produced F-14A Tomcats in early 1971, with the first training squadron for the type being joint Osean and Emmerian crews. In 1972 at the Gracemerian Air Show, the first operational squadron of F-14 Tomcats would be unveiled to the public. Fighter Squadron 28, otherwise known as the 'Guardians'.

For the next year, VF-28 would become the world's premier experts in the Aircraft, often running exercises against other Emmerian units, eventually making their debut at Fighter Weapons School in 1975.

VF-28 would make various deployments in the 1980s and 1990s, until military wide restructuring forced the squadron's closure in 1997. F-14As fr om the squadron would be sent to Fighter Weapons School wh ere they are currently flown by VFC-10 "Headhunters".

In 1973, the Janosian Defense Agency announced its interest in purchasing a replacement for its F-104 & F-4E interceptors. Initially, the F-15 was evaluated and initially chosen as the replacement,  however Osean Congressional oversight blocked the deal forcing the initial purchase to go to the F-14A proposal for the Janosian Air Self Defense Force (JASDF).

License built, the F-14AJ  would be nearly identical to the Osean and Emmerian F-14A Block 95, With the 202nd TFS and 405th TFS adopting the Airframe until the production was canceled in 1982 in favor of the F-15J.

Today Janosia still maintains its F-14AJ fleet as interceptors and light Reconnaissance aircraft. While there have been block upgrades suggested to the fleet, currently  the aircraft are some of the oldest flying examples of the type, only being modernized somewhat in 2010. The fleet is expected to stay with Janosia until 2027, with reports suggesting Adygea may purchase the fleet to bolster its own Air Defense Force.
