DCS A-10C II VoiceAttack profile – All (Non-Axis) commands

This is a complete list of commands found in the DCS Control panel for the A-10C II module, excluding the Axis commands usually set up on Joystick/Throttle, but including a few UI commands.

It’s intended as a base level profile for you to add (or import) your own custom commands to, and I’ve tried to optimise the phrases for VoiceAttack recognition.

A-10C II Voice Attack profile – A vanilla list of all (Non-Axis) commands

There are commands in the “Flight Control” and “HOTAS” sections that I’d allocate to my Joystick/Throttle that I’ve “Voice disabled” in order to stop them being detected by VoiceAttack (You can enable them by ticking the “When I say” box in the “Edit command” window for each Spoken Command).

Of course, you’re free to alter or add to each VA “Action” to what suits you. I’ve found in the past that VA can “hear” you’ve said something, when you actually said something else (or sneezed!), and so you might need to alter, or add clarification to, some commands. For example; VA would switch to the “F2” view unexpectedly, and I had to modify the command to “Select F2” to get control over it. I haven’t included that change in this profile but you might need to alter it, and any other commands that trigger without you meaning them to.

NOTE: Regular VoiceAttack users will already know this, but be aware: Just because a phrase or command exists in this profile does NOT mean it will automatically work. There has to be an “Action” – a keyboard command – set up BOTH in VA and the DCS Controls page. I have included in this profile all the linked keyboard controls that come by default in the DCS A-10C II module, but you’ll need to set up new keyboard combos for any of the other commands.

To load this profile into VoiceAttack just load up VA, click on the “+” icon in the upper right of the window, and then click “Import Profile”. Navigate to where you downloaded the profile and select it. (Please note you’ll probably have to buy a copy of VoiceAttack, as the free trial is limited to one profile).

As I learn more about the aircraft, I’ll likely improve this profile with more natural sounding commands - and I’ll post an alternative with my custom commands as I find them useful. Please let me know if you spot any errors and I’ll correct them in this profile!
