Takeoff/Landing Quick Reference Sheets For Kneeboard

A collection of single-page "cheat sheets" focused on takeoff and landing speeds/procedures for the following aircraft in DCS World: All FC3 modules (A-10A, F-15C, MiG-29A, MiG-29S, MiG-29G, Su-27, J-11, Su-33, Su-25), Su-25T, F-5E, Mirage 2000C, F-16C and F/A-18C. Large font size to accommodate users with smaller screens. Comes both in day and night versions.

These are not checklists, nor are they meant to serve as complete guides on how to land - rather, they are meant to provide players which are already familiar with these modules with a quick way to remember things like "How much trim for takeoff?" "how fast do I need to be on the approach again?" after you've been away fr om that specific module for two months and forgot all of the small details (Ask me how I know).

The numbers and procedures shown here were taken from three main sources: the venerable Chuck's Guides, the game's own manuals, and when not available in the former two, through in-game experimentation. 100% accuracy cannot be guaranteed, and some estimates do not take things like different weights or altitudes into consideration - but they should provide a good enough ballpark/approximation in most cases. If you find something wrong that needs fixing, please let me know.

Also included is a blank template in order to make it easy for players unfamiliar with kneeboard files to add their own notes if they wish. This can be done in any image editing software (even Paint) - write whatever additional notes you want there and save the file in the appropriate kneeboard folder for the aircraft you want to have these notes for (see "Installation" section).

---------- DISCLAIMER ----------

These reference sheets were not based on real-life manuals or documentation and do not aim to mirror or represent real procedures for these aircraft. They are merely meant for in-game use, with values that (should) reflect in-game aircraft performance.

And I believe this goes without saying, but if you're flying actual aircraft IRL, don't trust what some random dude on the internet wrote on a .png image.

---------- INSTALLATION ----------

For those who may not be entirely familiar with kneeboards in DCS:

Unzip the file (for most Windows 10 users, this should be as simple as right-clicking the .zip file and selecting "Extract All" fr om the menu - no third-party programs required) and drop the folders (one for each aircraft) into Saved Games -> DCS -> Kneeboard. If you do not have a Kneeboard folder in the DCS Saved Games folders, create a new folder and name it "Kneeboard" (without quotes), then drop the folders there.

You will notice the folders are named after each aircraft - feel free to delete those which you do not own or do not plan on using these reference sheets with.

There's also a folder called "Template_PilotNotes" - this is wh ere the blank templates are located. This folder can also be deleted if you do not intend to use these templates.

Both day and night versions are included together - if you are planning on using only the day version, or only the night version, feel free to delete the pages you are not going to use.

Take note that while the A-10C is not covered in this package (as I do not own nor have free-trialed the A-10C; I have only made reference sheets for those modules I have personally tried out), the A-10A's reference sheet should work, in theory, just as well for the A-10C. In case you wish to use the A-10A's sheet for the A-10C, simply copy the "A-10A" folder and rename it to "A-10C".

-----------------------

As a sidenote, if you plan on using this for the F-5E module: The bombing table I put together for the F-5 ( https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3320266/ ) was originally intended to be included with this quick reference sheet, but I ended up finishing the table first (plus it's 7 pages, so it's really better off as its own separate package) - If you're interested in having the bombing table, you can always place it together with the F-5E's quick reference sheet.

As always, if you have suggestions, corrections or anything of the sort do not hesitate to let me know. I hope you find this useful, and enjoy!
