In the far fringes of Osean territory lies the Solo Islands, a 212 square mile island hundreds of miles from the Osean mainland and hosting less than 50,000 residents. It is a quiet life for those who find themselves here, surrounded by tropical beaches, blue skies, and even bluer waters. It is a small wonder the pilots who find themselves as apart of the ‘Ronin’ struggle to leave the island life behind them.
The 12th Tactical Fighter Squadron is one of the few F-2A Viper Zero squadrons in the Osean Air Force to make full use of their aircraft’s multi-role capabilities. Not only being responsible for maritime interdiction around the islands, but also critical in air superiority and in routing the Yuktobanian garrison that had tried to seize the islands when the war broke out in 2010. The Ronin’s fierce combat record and unparalleled understanding of their aircraft makes them a force to be reckoned with even on their worst of days.
