RNLAF 312 Sqn 70 Years J-197 by Wine.
This year, 2021, the RNLAF 312 Squadron became 70 years old.
The F-16 unit nicknamed “Bonzo” was founded in 1951 at Volkel Air Base and thus celebrated its anniversary this year.
In honor of the unit's 70th anniversary, the J-197 features a special painting on the tail, after a design by Peter van Stigt.
Dit jaar, 2021, bestaat het RNLAF 312 Squadron 70 jaar.
De F-16 eenheid met de bijnaam “Bonzo” werd in 1951 opgericht op vliegbasis Volkel en vierde dus dit jaar zijn jubileum.
Ter ere van het 70 jarige bestaan van de eenheid is de J-197 voorzien van een speciale beschildering, naar een ontwerp van Peter van Stigt, op de staart.
