Soviet Defences and Targets for the Caucasus Map.
This kit provides air defences for the Caucaus as close to the reality as can be found, as they were between 1974 and 1989. Parts of it are probably accurate back to the 1960's.It also provides EWR sites in authentic locations, as well as providing markers to provide locations for authentic targets, culled fr om the CIA FOIA, based on cold war satellite imagery reports. Ive have also included two google earth markers to show wh ere these locations were in reality. The original reports showing what the sites looked like can be found on CIA FOIA website, using the code usually supplied, but quite often if you type in the name as given in the marker, it will show up in the search guide.
I think thats all. Ive tried to optimise sites for a high frame rate, but its not recommended you dump ALL the assets on screen in a scenario. Write your scenario, then use the static templates (or even write it on top of one of the included scenarios) to provide the defences, then delete anything that is far away from where your scenario is set. There is a minimum of vehicles, so hopefully it wont mess up your frame rates too much. Good luck, and I hope it may make building cold war scenarios a bit easier.
