Welcome Gentlemen to Operation Longshot
Situation: We are tasked with attacking targets of interest within France and providing assistance to naval units as requested. This is a dangerous undertaking and will most likely be the end of you. Take great care when approaching France as it’s not going to be kind, even when flying over the inland countryside, danger will be ever present. Nearing large population areas and targets of interest, the flak will intensify greatly. It is advised to have a competent Navigator accompany you to aid in navigation (his damn job), flying over France at 20ft locating targets can be a tricky lady to tickle to say the least. In the unlikely event you make it home you will be owing it to good navigation, competent attack profiles and managing the “Twins” after taking a few hits.

Notes: This has been a huge undertaking in getting this mission to function cleanly and efficiently. Despite the sheer scale of this mission, performance should be more than acceptable. The mission has been tested to work on lower end systems in VR while hosting! This is one reason the mission does not currently contain many enemy or friendly aircraft and focuses on ground pounding.
My aim is to bring great content to as many as I can and truly hope people enjoy playing. Feel free to make changes for personal use such as making wingmen AI though be warned if you remove or delete “_player flight” the mission will completely cease to function.
