7:00 Guam Mariana Islands. Supercarrier CVN-71 Theodore Roosevelt aka "The Big Stick". You're heading North from Hagatna Bay to the Philippine Sea & have received information concerning a situation developing in the Northern Mariana Island of Saipan. Our Predator has sent back images of an enemy Militia group that have infiltrated & taken over the Airport. They have AAA units set up & also a small armoured group has been observed patrolling the area. It's reported that embedded within this group are trucks transporting weapons & equipment to a Transport plane they have commandeered. Now, coinciding with this & more of a concern is that our AWACS has reported two enemy Su-27 Flankers snooping around Rota Island & are fully loaded with Air to Air & Air to Ground ordnance. We're very concerned about this as our Blue Angels team is on the ground at Rota at the moment undergoing maintenance. More information in the Briefing & your Kneeboard
Hey awesome Pilots. This one is no pushover but in saying that. shouldn't give you too much trouble. I figure you can knock this over in under 80 mins depending if you go for a AAR or not.. which I would definitely recommend just before you nail the two stationary ground targets, as you may need to go full AB chasing down Flankers. I hope you give this one a shot as it's a good little mission & being set in the beautiful Marianas makes it all the more enjoyable. Go get em & have fun with it.
Depart "Hot" fr om your Boat & WP navigate to Rota Island (WP-2) wh ere you will Refuel & strategically Arm with the weapons of your choice. On arrival you will notice the Blue Angels parked there & Intel has intercepted concerning information regarding them. The two Su-27 Flankers are planning to destroy the Blue Angels while they're grounded & we have no air defenses at this location but for now the Flankers are far enough away to take care of them later. After you refuel & are fully armed & then after passing Bulls/IP (WP-3) head to Saipan Island (WP-4) wh ere you have seven ground targets. These are as follows.. four trucks carrying weapons & equipment, two of them mobile & the other two are stationary positioned next to the Transport plane. Also a deadly SAM SA-6 Kub "Gainful" Launcher & it's "Straight Flush" Radar, now watch this guy he's meaner than a junk yard Pit Bull & carries 3 missiles & there IS a Rearm truck attached to them. We have Patrol unit JTAC "Warrior" to Lase the stationary Trucks loading the Plane & the SAM Units if wish to use him. Once you neutralize all your ground targets, head to WP-5 at low alt where you will search for & splash the two Su-27 Flankers before they reach the Angels. If the two Convoy Trucks reach the Transport plane ( approx 20 mins ) or the Flankers drop any iron on the Blue Angels you will fail the mission. Once you have completed your tasks you will RTB either for a Trap back to Mother or land at Antonio B.
