In August 1989, two Russian MiG-29s entered North American air space. They didn't come in anger, but rather to demonstrate MiG aircraft to North Americans for the first time.

After a fuel stop at Elmendorf AFB in Alaska, they took off once again for Abbotsford, British Columbia. As they entered Canadian air space they were escorted by Canadian CF-18 aircraft who had been dispatched fr om 441 Squadron. They continued their tour of Canada and flew to CFB Bagotville wh ere they were greeted and escorted by Hornets of 433 Squadron.
A famous photo of Blue 315 with CF-18 791 of 433 Squadron on his right wing was taken by an accompanying dual seat CF-18B on a flight from Windsor Ontario to CFB Bagotville. 791 had a full colour Canada flag on the tail, and was piloted by 433's CO, Lt-Col. Ray Levasseur.
This package contains both 188791 and Blue 315. 315 is a livery for MiG-29A and should go in the appropriate folder.
