A mission template for cold war scenarios based on extensive research with all the locations VVS and PVO Air regiments marked at their historical bases, and all SAM sites positioned as they were in 1965
The area encompassed by the DCS Caucasus map was historically home to units of the:
10th Red Banner Air Defence Division (PVO, headquartered in Rostov on Don)
12th Red Banner Air Defence Corps (PVO, headquartered in Volgograd)
14th Air Defence Corps (PVO, headquartered in Tbilisi)
34th Air Army (VVS, headquartered in Tbilisi)
whose subordinate units were dispersed across the region, I have placed them as accurately as I can based publicly available information on their historical bases and locations
Air regiments and types flown are indicated by trigger zone markers on their respective bases (I haven't placed any units for them)
SAM sites are positioned on their historical locations
