A piston engined israeli plane has been spotted in the vicinity of Rayak air base in the Bekaa Valley. We suspect the bandit is going to overfly the base and take photographs of the undergoing runway extension work to accomodate modern MiGs and help our Arab lebanese brothers protect themselves from the Zionist aggression*.
You’re a Syrian Arab Air Force (SyAAF) pilot on an early morning QRA watch from Al Dumayr air base. You are to take off immediately and head for the Bekaa Valley.

FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS
When you are close to Rayak air base, you will break off the cloud cover (at 1 150 m ASL) and start searching for your target. It is likely the bandit will try to evade interception by flying very low towards the very narrow Litani river valley, south of Lake Qaraoun. You are tasked to shoot down the bandit, preferably before it reaches the Litani river. Since Lebanon does not operate a GCI station, you will be on your own looking out for the bandit.
Your armament consists of two K-13A missiles and two NR-30 guns with their full complement of ammunition.
Do not cross or come too close to the Israeli border as we suspect they might have prepared an ambush, come an Arab jet chasing their plane.
