This is a fictional Hornet skin based on an old Royal Air Force Phantom livery from an age gone by.
This is my fictional Hornet skin inspired by a FGR Mk2 Phantom (XV420 BT) from 56 Squadron that was based at RAF Wattisham back in 1992. The decals I've created should be failrly close to the Phantoms. There is of course the usual artistic licence for it to fit the F18 since the RN has never operated them. Lost count of the time it's taken but I'm quite happy how it's turned out. My first skin quite recently was a little crude compared to this one.<br />
