This F-86A Sabre was allocated to Lt Col. Glenn Eagleston of the 4th Fighter Wing. Some sources show the nose of this Sabre to be painted red. My research shows this as being a misinterpretation of the photos of the aircraft and it was in fact a brown colour, which I assume is a coat of primer as 4thFW A model Sabres had this area usually painted white.
