Operation Goodwood:
July 18th, 1944

British front has been established W-E North of Caen. Montgomery's largest offensive begins as elements of I Corps and Canadian II Corps, VII Corps attack out of the airborne bridgehead east of the Orne.

German forces of the 16th Luftwaffe Field Division and 21st Panzer Division are preparing to defend against the Allied attempt to break through to the Caen-Falaise road.

Welcome to Operation "Refuge 11".   This is a mission of area objectives.  Flight time to target is 14 minutes.

BACKSTORY:
Caucasus. Brave soldiers of the 1st Edelweiss division have placed the symbol of the German military glory on Mount Elbrus and currently occupy the Khotyu-tau Pass with 10,000 Gebirgsjäger from the 1st Mountain Division.  These troops are headqueartered at the historic mountaineering hut, "Priyut 11" (Приют одиннадцати, "Refuge of the 11") and hold the key for Operation Eidelweiss flanking maneuvers to seize Baku oilfields to the East.

The Allied forces are staging in the valley to the east and air assets are preparing to hit PRIYUT 11 with deadly focus.  High altitude FW190 have been called upon to protect the refuge and attack the Eastern Staging.

Welcome to OPERATION MUDSKIPPER!

MISSION: P51 must clear defenses and support beach landings.  FW190 must oppose.

Allied forces continue to push the axis toward the sea and out of the oil assets of the Caucuses. To take advantage of the current fog bank, an allied  beach landing is underway in the Bay of Taman to try and bring flanking forces through poorly controlled rebel territories from the NorthWest.  If successful, a spear can be pointed at the uncontrolled base of Anapa to put pressure on the axis to the SouthEast.

The city of Hamyshki has been suspected of weapons manufacturing and is surrounded by four Bluefor forward bases. These bases are preparing to stage an attack on the town.

The city is protected by flak batteries being directed from 3 concrete outposts, Bluefor must bring the Flak down to allow 6 bombers to attack the weapons factory.

Redfor must try to either take out the 4 forward bases surrounding Hamyshki or destroy all 6 bombers en route.
