A basic reskin for the in-game CVN-72 USS Abraham Lincoln to resemble the USS Carl Vinson (CVN-70).
UPDATE: 03.16.2026 (v1.1) - Fixed a minor cosmetic issue that was bugging me. This required switching the stand-in carrier from the USS Theodore Roosevelt to the USS Abraham Lincoln. If you want the revised version you'll need to re-download the skin and place the updated files accordingly into their new location.

Due to some limitations with the Supercarrier textures, there are certain cosmetic features that I am unable to alter (e.g. island lights) and some obvious structural items as well. As such, I decided to keep it relatively simple and follow the existing templates as closely as possible in regards to style, fonts, locations and spacing for deck numbers, island numbers, ship's name, etc. So this skin is not an attempt to be authentic, but it should match the current batch of carriers in the game pretty well and, with a little suspension of disbelief, will hopefully provide some fun new options for my fellow players.
Simply drop the CVN_72 folder into your saved games directory in the following location:
C:\Users\YourName\Saved Games\DCS\Liveries
And that's it. This skin should show up as "CVN-70 USS Carl Vinson" in the Lincoln's livery section in the game.
