IRIAF Splinter Camo (Fictional)
This is a splinter camo for the JF-17 based on the similar paint job given to the F-14s operated by the IRIAF.
The skin has custom tail numbers, as well as Persian numbering for the nose (apologies to any Persian speakers, I don't speak the language, so it's possible they don't actually render correctly). The skin was created for a hypothetical world where Pakistan and China moved to strengthen their ties with Iran to gain a stronger foothold in the region while also being able to make a sale to a country in need of a more modernized air force. The JF-17 provides a lot of capabilities for Iran to replace aging planes like the F-4, older Mirages and even to take over some of the work done by the F-14 and MiG-29.
The skin itself has custom patches for the pilot as well as customized roughmet textures. As with my Persian numbering, I struggled a bit to find solid information on what patches looked like, so things are a bit generic. I did at least try to create a custom squadron patch based on a real world one I found.
All thanks is owed to the great work of Ditch3r for his custom-made JF-17 template that he was kind enough to share with me.
To install the skin you can place the zipped file into your DCS folder: DCS World\CoreMods\aircraft\ChinaAssetPack\Liveries\JF-17. There is no need to unzip the file, which can help you save some space if you've got a large livery collection.
