This mod is an updated version of the original "Display Camera Shake". This mod adds camera shake (jiggle) effects to the DCS, enhancing the immersive experience when using various camera views. Additionally, it disables collisions in object camera mode, allowing the camera to pass through objects without any restrictions.
1. Locate your DCS installation folder, which is typically found at the root of your hard drive or within the Program Files directory. Navigate to the Config folder, then the View folder. This should be something like C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Config\View\.
(DO NOT PLACE IN YOUR SAVED GAMES FOLDER)
2. Copy the View.lua file (which contains the camera shake and collision disabling script) into the View folder mentioned above.
3. Launch the DCS World game.
4. Once in DCS World, choose a static view by pressing Left Ctrl + F11. Move the camera to your desired view, then press (.) on your number pad OR press Left Ctrl + F3 to padlock the camera to an aircraft. (((MAKE SURE YOU HAVE CAPS LOCKS ENABLED)))
5. To activate the camera shake effect, press Left Shift + J approximately six times. You will notice a significant change in the camera movement, indicating that the effect is active.
6. If you want to switch to another aircraft, press Left Ctrl + F11, followed by the period key (.) on the number pad. This will allow you to padlock onto another aircraft. Repeat the steps from previously enable the camera shake effect for the new aircraft.
