Tigers of the Pacific tells the story of an outnumbered and outgunned US Navy Force that has the unenviable task of reclaiming islands in the shadow of a larger crisis.
Key Features:
*Fly the AV-8B over the Marianas as part of the USMC VMA-542 and their deployment to remove the nation of Sunchon from an allied island nation.
*Perform six missions such as fleet defense, close air support, low level attack and deployment of precision munitions against a large variety of targets.
*Use every weapon and system at your disposal to negate the enemies superior numbers and be victorious.
The year is 1996. The Peoples Republic of China is threatening the island of Formosa and the nation of Taiwan. US Forces rally to the small island nation to assist their longtime ally. Unseen by US Intelligence, Chinas Ally the nation of Sunchon launches an invasion of the Republic of Agana; another US Ally in the region that holds a strategic position in the upcoming battle.
The US Navy has no choice but to respond but lacking assets, has to make due with what they got. The USS Nassau will head into harms way with only her escorts and six USMC Harriers...
What to expect: This Campaign focuses more on immersion and the general campaign idea than procedure. Jets are hot started and the missions allow you to take your time. It is suitable for all Harrier pilots; both new and veterans.
