This is a repaint of the 113st Wing Commander's aircraft, District of Columbia Air National Guard, at Andrews AFB Maryland. This livery appeared around the year 2000 before the 9/11 attacks.
The 121st Fighter Squadron of the 113st Wing is responsible for the air defense of the US capital. The unit is sortied multiple times each year to intercept aircraft that ventures into the Washington ADIZ without prior permission. As a DC-area resident, I dedicate this repaint to the men and women of the 113st Wing for keeping the sky above my family safe.
