Simple mission where you have to make an attack at Iranian Scud launchers being prepared for conflict at the apron of Lar airport. This is the first more or less complete mission for me so bring your criticism on, I need it to learn and improve. The mission story is purely fictional and is not based on or inspired by real events.
Following Iran and USA quitting Non-Proliferation Treaty, situation in the Gulf region quickly got tense. Iran has expressed intensions to openly produce mass destruction weapons. USS Theodore Roosevelt has been dispatched and is planned to reach Persian Gulf within 3 days. Iran has put its Air Defense forces on high alert and threatened to attack Al-Dharfa and Al-Minhad should any of foreign forces enter Persian Gulf. During past night Four groups of Hornets belonging to VFA-106 have been moved to Al Minhad from CVN 71 to ensure region protection.
Satellite surveillance shows the presence of 4 scud launchers capable of nuclear warheads on the apron of Lar AFB. It is reasonably probable this launchers will be deployed on Iran’s cost to threaten NATO forces in the region. 4 groups of hornets have been ordered to destroy launchers before CVN arrival.
The weather is abnormal for the region: it's rainy and foggy with visibility down below 1000 m.
