We join 200th Independent Attack Squadron, the first Su-25 operational unit to deploy to Afghanistan. The conflict is still in the early stage so Mujahedeen air defenses are light, but your mission is very important - destruction of two bunkers that harass Soviet supply convoys in Kandahar region.
Your task is to take part in one of the first operational sorties for the Su-25 in Afghanistan and destroy two Mujahedeen bunkers overlooking a vital highway. You will be assisted by two Su-17s from 217th Fighter-bomber Regiment, sharing Shindand air base with you. They will discover and mark the targets. Enemy anti-aircraft defenses are not heavy.<br />

This mission was not meant to be extremely challenging. Rather, it tries to reconstruct some actual historic missions flown by the Soviets in their Afghanistan intervention. If you like the mission, I have ideas for several more. Their difficulty would gradually increase, placing them in later years of the conflict, with Stinger being supplied to the Mujahedeen in large quantities.
