IDB is a Soundmod for DCS Bf-109 K4 that enhences external and internal audio of the Bf-109 with real sound recordings for an imerssive flight expirience.
The mod project IDB is a personal sound mod created for DCS World 1.5 and higher that enhences the accustics of the Bf109K-4 module.
Started about a year ago as a small personal mod only it growed steadily and after a long break closed in to it's first public release.
This mod incorporates authentic sound recordings ripped from original footage as well as modified bits of original Eagle Dynamics sounds.
V.2 includes a variety of important changes:
- New sound files have been created and outdated ones have been replaced
- Volume of all sounds has been tweaked (lowered) as per user request
- Flyby sounds have been rebalanced to sound more authentic
- includes mod package for louder gun sounds (by default gun sounds are relatively quiet). To install it drag the content from the "Louder Weapons" folder over into the "Bf-109K4 IDB Mod 2.0" directory
Due to lack of time this version has not been tested extensively so it might have some issues. As always feedback is welcome.
