Download Instruction

I take Black Shark 2 standalone distributive as an example. All other distributives are downloaded in exactly the same way. Just different number of files and files themselves are different.

Distributive consists of several files. One executable and its resource files. Each of files is put on several different file servers (also called mirrors). The purpose of it to allow user to download from alternative server if Internet connection with one is too slow. I've marked with checkmarks the servers I downloaded from.

One may also use bittorrent protocol to download full distributive at once. This way isn't subject of current instruction, but you can see small instruction made for DCS Warthog at our wiki.
In case of low speed with all of our file servers, it's advised to use bittorrent. It's superior to FTP and HTTP protocols.

After you click on a file link a confirmation pop up appears at the bottom. Select Save as shown below.

After any file is downloaded don't Run it. Just close the pop up.

Here is a screenshot of downloads running.

Downloaded files.

In case of issues widen the window by pulling one of its side borders. Here you'll see full filenames. They should match filenames on the download page.

To start installation run KA-50_full_en_1.1.1.1.exe

Another way to verify filenames is to open the download folder with Windows Explorer. For it press Options link at the bottom-left corner. A dialog will pop up. There you may click Browse... and Select Folder dialog will pop up. It's easy to determine where the folder is in this dialog.

Below is the downloaded distributive files in the Windows Explorer. Notice the option to display filename extensions is enabled. So full filenames are clearly visible.

To start installation run KA-50_full_en_1.1.1.1.exe

In case of problems consider verifying integrity of distributive files. Here is a small instruction.

A comprehensive solution is to use bittorrent protocol. It grants the delivery of full set of files intact and keeps file structure (filenames).
